The Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) is pleased to notify all its tuition providers, students, prospective students and the general public, that it has launched the June and December examination sessions on its Certificate and Diploma in Banking & Finance programmes beginning with the year, 2020. This initiative has been necessitated as a response to the overwhelming requests from both students and tuition providers and it is hoped that with this new development, students will have more options on the choice of the examination session. Enrolment for January 2020 intake is in progress.
Further, it is advised that in 2020 academic year, the Institute will still conduct the April 2020 examinations as always, and then conduct examinations during the new sessions of June and December.
In summary, the Institute will hold three (3) examination sittings for Certificate and Diploma in 2020 as follows:
- April 2020 Sitting – Certificate & Diploma Examinations
- June 2020 Sitting – Certificate, Diploma and other Professional Examinations
- December 2020 Sitting – Certificate, Diploma and other Professional Examinations
All tuition providers, students (returning, new and prospective), sponsors and the general public are hereby advised that enrolment for April 2020 examinations continues and students shall proceed to write the examinations as per the old calendar of April and all the students that will be enrolled in January 2020 shall have an option to either sit for the examinations in April or June 2020. Detailed examination timetables shall be available on the website soon.
This introduction of the June and December exam sittings at Certificate and Diploma levels is aimed at serving Institute members and stakeholders better.
