In light of the directive from the Government of the Republic of Zambia to indefinitely close all institutions of learning as a precautionary measure towards the control of transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) wishes to advise all its students that the April 2020 Examinations which were scheduled to take place from 6th to 9th April 2020, have been temporarily postponed to later dates to be advised soon, as the Institute continues to closely monitor the health situation in the nation under the guidance of the relevant authorities.
The situation will be revisited after 14 days and the Institute will keep its members updated on the examinations calendar, and sufficient examination timetable notice will be given to candidates.
Kindly take note that all exam entries made so far remain valid for the new dates to be announced soon and students who did not manage to enrol for Certificate and Diploma exams are encouraged to take advantage of this postponement to register for the Certificate and Diploma Banking examinations.
Students are hereby encouraged to adhere to the health guidelines provided and continue studying and preparing for their exams as the new dates are being awaited. ZIBFS prioritizes the health, safety and well-being of all its members, and it is hoped that the Institute will have the full understanding and support of its members in this regard.
The Institute will remain operational whilst adhering to the given health guidelines, unless the situation dictates otherwise in due course, of which members will be adequately updated. The inconvenience this postponement may cause is deeply regretted.
