The Zambia Institute of Banking & Financial Services (ZIBFS) is pleased to announce an intensive and practical one-day E-TRAINING WORKSHOP in EFFECTIVE INTERNAL AUDIT & CONTROL SYSTEMS.
As you may be aware, during this period of the Covid19 pandemic, there has been an increase in online financial transactions from both corporate and retail clients of Institutions, and this progressive development may also give rise to fraudulent transactions by unscrupulous and fraudulent people. It is also a period in which proper resource utilization is needed and should be accounted for in the wake of negative economic growth projections in 2020 for both local (Zambia) and regional economies.
In this light, a lot is expected from officers tasked to ensure effective monitoring of resource utilization and adherence to the set standard practices. Therefore, this e-training will empower these officers with the necessary tools to help them perform their roles more efficiently and effectively.
Considering the great benefit that will be derived from this training, we are calling upon institutions & individuals to nominate not only audit officers but other officers such as Branch Managers, Back office staff, compliance officers and others linked to the daily operations of the business, because by so doing, you will assist everyone involved to be aware of what is expected of them and ensure effectiveness in your internal audit and control systems.
